Born on 5 June 1997 in Seoul, South Korea, Jehee Lee started to play guitar at age 10.  After graduation from the Seoul Arts Highschool  in 2013, he moved to Germany and started his bachelor study with Prof. Marcin Dylla at the Musikhochschule Münster. In the summer of 2019, he received his wyróżnienie (diplom with honours) from the International Festival and Competition Baltic Guitar Days Moniuszko 2019 in Szczecin, and he was also one of the finalists at the International guitar competition in Brno.

Later in 2019, he performed the Concierto de Aranjuez by Joaquín Rodrigo with the Caelum Kammerensemble in Münster, conducted by Marion Wood. In June 2023 he was invited to perform concerts at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice and the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Krakow, Poland. In November 2023 he won 2nd prize and the audience prize at the International Guitar Competition Miguel Llobet in Barcelona. He is currently doing a master at the Musikhochschule Münster, Germany.
