The Goethe-Institut is the cultural institute of the Federal Republic of Germany with a global reach.

It promotes knowledge of the German language abroad and foster international cultural cooperation. Its cultural and educational programs encourage intercultural dialogue and enable cultural involvement. 159 Goethe-Institutes in 98 countries provide information on the culture, language and other general aspects of Germany.

They strengthen the development of structures in civil society and foster worldwide mobility. Since 1957 the Goethe-Institut France has been promoting the German-French friendship and the cultural cooperation of both countries.
On 30 April 2018, the Goethe-Institute will host two Masterclasses by cciMB 2018 Jury members Michael Hampel and Stephan Schmidt.
