The Schola Cantorum Basiliensis is the most famous educational institution for early music and the largest of its kind. With its close to 70 lecturers and around 200 students it brings to live a repertoire covering a period of 1000 years - from the 9th to the 19th century. Through its excellent teaching program, students can get acquainted with early music in a variety of creative and research fields, preparing them for a successful musical career. The Schola also provides outstanding infrastructure and research conditions as well as numerous performance opportunities. Coming over especially from Switzerland, The Schola Alumni ensemble under the direction of Marc Lewon (lute, glittern) will perfom a concert of early music at the cciMB 2018 Festival called J'ay pris amours a ma devise.
